Chances for Butler Pharmacy?

I’m currently a junior and I want to apply to Butler University’s Advanced PharmD program (2 pre-professional years and 4 professional years). I want to know if I have a good chance of being admitted! Here are my statistics:

Junior Year:
AP English Language Comp - A
APUSH - A
Honors Spanish 3 - A+
Psychology - A
Sociology - A
Pre-Calculus - A+
Chemistry II - A
Medical Intervention (PLTW Biomedical Program) - A
Office Cadet

Senior Year Schedule:
AP Chemistry
AP Calculus AB
AP Psychology
AP European History
Spanish 4 (dual credit course)
W131 (Writing course through IU)
S121 (Speech course through IU)
Anatomy and Physiology
Office Cadet

EC’s (based on senior year):
Student Council - 4 years
4-H - 10 years
NHS
SHS
Spanish Club - 3 years
Prom Committee
Senior Class Council
Student Leadership Academy
Leaders-To-Go
Junior Class Secretary
Senior Class Treasurer
Men’s Tennis Team - 4 years
Mentor-Protege Program: Over the course of my senior year, I will be job-shadowing a research pharmacist 4 hours a month. It’s part of a program my school offers that only 21 seniors are accepted into each year in order to provide insight into their career interests. I think that this will hopefully improve my Butler Pharmacy application greatly.

Volunteer:
I volunteer regularly at my school and church throughout the year. Also, I volunteer weekly at my local hospital’s ER unit for 4 hours each week. Total service hours = 100+ hours.

Test Scores:
I have taken the ACT twice. I got a 26 on my first try (28-English, 26-Math and Reading, and 25-Science). The second time I got a 27 (33-English, 25-Math, Reading, and Science). I’m going to take the SAT in May. (Butler superscores both the SAT and ACT.)

What are my chances?

Have you taken biology and physics?

Everything honestly looks good up to your test scores. You seriously need to study and get those subscores in at least the 90th+ percentiles and get your ACT score to a 30+. (http://www.actstudent.org/scores/norms1.html)

I have taken biology but not physics (the physics teachers stink at my school). Thanks for the advice about the ACT score! I have been studying to get it up to the 30 range! Thanks!

I recommend taking a physics course online or at a CC over the summer if you don’t want to replace something like the Speech course senior year with Honors Physics. I know pharmacy has nothing to do with physics but you’ll have to take at least one course during your pre-req years and you don’t want college physics to be your first jump in the pool.
