chances for chemE grad programs, low gpa

<p>Im interested in knowing what UC engineering programs i can get into. my stats are far from stellar, but i do have a passion for engineering/learning. </p>

<p>Education:</p>

<p>BS Chemical Engineering 2009
UCM Lower Division GPA: 3.42 (then transferred to ucla)
UCLA Upper Division Chem Engr GPA: 3.18
Overall Collegiate GPA: 3.27
GRE: 770 Quant, 480 Verbal</p>

<p>Academic Experience/Rewards:</p>

<p>Briefly did research as a sophomore at UCM, was acknowledged in a paper. Worked with and communicated with the physics/math departments at UCM a lot. Still maintain good relations with both departments. Letters of Rec?
Participated in the Putnam Math Competition last fall, performed above average.<br>
Honor's Deans List (Fall 2008); GPA: 3.9
fraternity scholarship award: senior year</p>

<p>Another Thing to Note:
There is a noticeable upward trend in my grades at UCLA.<br>
I showed substantial improvement senior year, attaining a 3.9 GPA with a 19 unit courseload during my first quarter. Overall, I had a 3.60 GPA average in my ChemE courses senior year. </p>

<p>Work Experience:
Currently working fulltime for a small company where i'm experiencing many types of engineering (very hands on). Loving every minute of it. </p>
