<p>The Math IIC has a better curve on it, thus more room for error. For example I believe you can get 1-3 wrong on the Math IC for a 800 while you can get almost double more on the IIC and still get a 800.</p>
<p>Of course, I took the SAT and the subject tests a few years ago so it may have changed.</p>
<p>One thing you can now do with SAT is select the date of the scores you send to colleges. I think you have to send all M/V/W from same date. The only problem with that is that you minimize your superscoring potential.</p>
