Hey friends!
I have a dream to attend the Teachers College for grad school at Columbia University. I will be a sophomore undergrad Nutrition major with a minor in Neuroscience with a 4.0. I am a part of 2 clubs, and I will be conducting research at a nutrition center next summer. Does anyone have any insight as to what my chances are with this?
Looks like you are doing things right but it is impossible to chance when you are a rising sophomore. You just have one year of a GPA and haven’t taken the GRE yet.
FWIW my D is at TC now in a different area of study and is enjoying it there.
Going forward, please don’t post the same question multiple times on the board. If your post moves to the second page you can move it back up by just posting “bump” as a response. I think the moderators have put your three posts together.
Yeah that was my bad! For some reason my computer was acting up and told me that my original post never sent! Technology! Anyways, thank you so much for the for the advice!
I would honestly say that you have a good chance as long as you maintain the 4.0 GPA. Although, try to get involved in more clubs and do AMAZING on the GRE. If you get a 4.0 GPA, get involved in 4 clubs, and get a 165 or higher on the GRE. If you do all three of those things, you will probably be accepted.
