I’d say you have a good chance at most of the schools but be wary about UVA as it has gotten much more competitive in the past few years. Good luck!

Small bump.

You should get into or at least be competitive for UVA and Emory. I’m not familiar enough with the others to chance you on those. I’d feel bad giving you incorrect thoughts.

Chance me back please!

Thank you for your responses. I feel moderately good about Emory (though wouldn’t be shocked by a rejection) but really doubt my chances at UVa.

If anyone who stops by knows much about Colorado College, I’d appreciate the input. I’d love to be accepted.

Sorry, have to bump.

In my opinion, Colorado College would be a high match. Since it appears your interests lie in business and the humanities, I don’t believe your math score should hurt you that much. However, it is still an issue. Your SAT and class rank prevents a better chance, but you have great ECs. Make sure you do a good job on your essays, and I believe you stand a decent chance. However, I’m not an admissions director, so nothing I say should be taken very seriously haha. But best of luck! I honestly do believe you stand a good shot. Chance me back?

Quest Bridge = Great chances everywhere

Match for Grinnell, Reed, Mount Holyoke
Low Reach for UVA

Your GPA, and EC’s are good, AP scores (and maybe SAT) are only thing a little low
You should be set for all only UVA And EMORY Are reaches

Emory-high match
UVA-high match(in-state?)
Grinnell-match

I think your profile is good overall. You have an excellent chance at your schools.

Comments?http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1575443-chance-me-my-ed-ea-hyp-mit-please-will-chance-back.html</a></p>

Thank you so much for your encouragements! I’ve chanced you all back.

Collegebound465, you’re absolutely right. It’s just such a pain in the side. My class rank is particularly bad because our weighted ranking system makes it so that kids who take easy humanities classes (guaranteed 100s) and advanced math/science classes can easily produce a higher GPA than those of us who take both at honors/AP level. And the math, well… It can’t be helped. I’m simply horrible at math.

UVA- Low reach/high match
CC- High match
All rest matches

Your stats are pretty well rounded, so that should help you with UVA, make sure you have a strong essay and you should have a pretty good shot. Best of luck!

Thank you for your feedback! Anyone know the specifics for Reed? Heck, I’d do anything to go there as well.

This forum gets out of control sometimes.

Bumping this just a tad.

I wouldn’t be worried if I were you. Seems like you have “the whole package” - ECs, grades, etc.
Chance me back?: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1597739-new-please-chance-me-ivy-leagues-plus-mit-stanford-caltech.html</a></p>

Marist is way safe for you

I think you have fantastic chances for all these schools. Your GPA is good and you have good ECs. Just make sure you write killer essays and I think you have a sure shot at all of these.

Thank you guys for the feedback. I’m shocked that more people haven’t anathematized me for my awful SAT math score.
