<p>Hey Guys, this is my first post but I really want to know my chances if I apply regular for cornell university. Here are my stats:
SAT 2190 (M 710, CR 700, W 690)
GPA: 98, Rank: 1
AP: US History (I think I will get a 4) AP English
All honors classes, my school doesn't offer any other AP's
Essays: Israel-Palistine conflict and how I encountered it personally through my friends in both countries.
Extra Curriculars: Environmental Club (freshman and sophomore year) Prolife(sophomore year) leadership group( sophomore, junior and presently and will continue to senior year) we do awareness programs and service programs, international day, internal peace day, food drives (midnight run)
National Honor Society ( 10,11, and 12)
I tutor students in school for national honor society every week.
Debate club (only 11th grade)</p>
<p>In the summer after freshmen year, I was accepted to an leader, international, all scholarship program called camp rising sun. Only sixty girls from all over the world was selected. It was based on leadership and service.
In junior year I was accepted to HPREP, a program in cornell medical college.
I have first honors from freshman year till present and some science award from St.Johns University
Volunteer: I tutor students for NHS
Tutor my neighbor and also a kid from my parish who is struggling in math.
I volunteer in my school activities like open house, luncheons, galas...
In 9 and 10th grade, I volunteered in the library for 75 hours.
Will volunteer in weill cornell medical center for 150 hours in the summer.
Recommendations: a us history teacher and science teacher and guidance counselor- they will be awesome! :)
