GPA: 3.85/4.00 (unweighted)

went to a very competitive magnet high school that did not rank. took the hardest courses.

Your stats, as I’m sure you know, are excellent. But your bluntness, is rude. How is anyone going to make a projection on your chances if the above is all you have? I’d rethink, and submit a new post. If you don’t know that your stats fall within Dartmouth acceptance averages, then you haven’t looked at the site, which is ignorant–and you are wasting the majority-of-the-people-on-this-forum’s time, seeing as they go to Dartmouth.

Understood Consolation…I have made 9 posts…but I have actually read many posts…

@Pearl: sorry for MY rudeness…I just get a little ticked when people don’t use the chance forum. All your stats match up w/ Dartmouth (some exceed). You have a decent chance. Your modest list of EC’s is a good thing by the way.

Haha wow pearl, seem like you’ve stirred up some fun with only one post! I’d say your stats are all in order and your EC’s seem brief, but good. However, I see no overt passion. What sets you apart from others? Why you? Also to give best predictions Race/Region would be very helpful.

Lemur: Hey, you’re fine. I’d just remember in the future all posts should try and be positive! I take the philosophy that everyone on here is ignorant of something. We just need to help each other out instead of tear each other down I can remember how hard the admissions process was. I’m glad you’re contributing to the boards now though!

Anyways, best of luck to both pearl and lemur! Let me know if you have any questions
