Good chance of having an NROTC scholarship to school of choice; please evaluate chances for Notre Dame (EA) and Boston College (EA)

Thanks!

AHHH what is up with schools not ranking!! good on SATs(did you do worse on writing since they dont check it?) four aps junior year and...good scores on them.....you are not spread out as far as ECs...but i intrepret that to mean that you are heavily involved with them.......you have my vote

Thanks for the reply. I didn't try as hard on the writing section, but I still don't think I could have done much better as it is. I was looking at your stats earlier, and i hope to see ya at notre dame sometime in the future. double legacy is the shiznit

Where are you from and are you a minority or legacy by any chance? Just at face value, going with my gut, I would say you have a good shot at BC and a decent shot at ND (decent being 50-50 shot). I do not think you will get rejected EA, but may be deferred because of the GPA. The SAT will definately help you out big time and my hunch would be that you get in. Good luck!

Unfortunatley neither a minority nor a legacy, but I am from a private high school in Tennessee. I don't know if that would help any in the application process. Thanks for the reply

just a side note....if u dont want to answer this its ok.....do they like legacies whose parents are involved with some school orginazations at ND compare to other legacies? jw

I'm sure ND would give special weight to that since they also like kids whose parents work for the university. I'd say you are in very good shape as far as legacies go anyway.
