Chances for ED at Pratt?

I am an Indian (Asian) applicant from a public school in NJ. I applied ED a month ago and have a 2130 on my SAT I with a 600 in CR, 760 in M, 770 in W.

I have also taken 20+ Advanced classes (AP and honors)

What are your ECs like? Your SAT is on the lower end for Pratt, but it looks like you took very rigorous courses. Can you give your UW and W GPA?

I have 3.7-3.8 gpa unweighted on a 4.0 scale (3.81 / 4.5 on my school’s scale).

I have won numerous awards in piano. I’ve been doing it for over 10 years and submitted an arts supplement. I am also the lead piano player in my school’s musicals. Before, a professional played the piano.

I am a karate black belt and ive been doing that for 10 years

I won the NJ Governor’s School in Engineering distinction in my school (only one who got it)

Other than that, its generic stuff (volunteering at hospital, JV tennis, NHS, etc)

Thanks for your reply!

You definitely have a shot. How good of a shot, Idk, I mean ED apps went up by 23% I think soooo it will be competitive especially with your SAT score. If you get deferred I would recommend retaking,

bludev15, that increase is mainly due to trinity and in-state applicants. Engineering applicants have only increased by about 50

^where did you get that info?
