I do hold a leadership position in the band however i am looking to add more. I am currently in the marching band(One of the best in the state),Spanish club, Beta Club,Academic team, church youth group, did karate (Tang su do, which i excelled in and even won 3 first place fighting competitions)and plan to volunteer at the soup kitchen. I am also in a percussion ensemble, and i my classes are of the hardest rigor available at my school. Chance Me please(I chance back). Thanks By the way I have only made 2 C's. All the rest of my grades have been B+ ---- A+ range. (Mostly A's)

Emory is almost definite. I would try for the Emory Scholars Program if I were you; you’d probably make it.

bump…

Reformat the original post to make it readable.

@cdiss- How is this almost a definite? He would be in the bottom quarter of students with his TARGET scores… Do you know anything at all about Emory? I’d give a 20% chance.

Agreed with Nihility. Scores and rank are below Emory’s averages. Decent shot because of URM but not great.

URM helps less and less. This year I’m pretty sure its impact will be almost negligible.
