<p>I think that the ACT and ECs give you an excellent platform from which you can make a great case for admission. Identify your passion – that is what will make your essays stand out. The Gold Award is bigger than you think. Make sure that you identify the leadership components of that award. I think it is important for the counselor letter to indicate that you have taken the toughest classes that fit into your schedule. Also – definite lock for Fordham with some great financial aid!</p>
<p>^prius nailed it on the head - passion - you would be amazed at how much I hear this around campus - they want passionate people - look who they just hired as their head coach for football - also, don’t worry if your school does weird things, they take your situation into account. They compare you with what your school has to offer, and if your GPA system is really weird, then they might not even look at it.</p>
