Chances for HS Sophomore dying to go to U of the South?/How do I pay?

About Me
-Want to major in either a science/engineering or Journalism. If I go to USouth, I'll probably major in Chemistry.
-Very well liked by peers.
-I have many random talents. I can ride a unicycle, I can juggle, I can do both at the same time, I can do gymnastic stunts, I can dance, I'm a good go kart racer, I'm a brown belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and I can whistle extraordinarily well.
-I love sports. Love love love them. Any sport, from football to cricket.

Academics
-3.4 GPA (school doesn't do weighted/unweighted)
-Somewhere around Top 15% of my class of ~600. Report Cards didn't publish class ranks last semester.
-All honors classes, Advanced honors English classes.
-Next year, I'm taking APUSH and AP English III. Next year, I'll take AP English IV, AP Gov't, AP Physics and AP Calculus.
-27 on the ACT when I took it for the first time in December without trying. It was for Governor's School applications.
-I pulled my application this year, but next year I'll most likely attend the Tennessee Governor's School for the Arts.

Extra Curriculars
-Marching Band (Section Leader next year, hopefully band captain senior year.)
-Symphonic Band (The premier band at my school, have to audition to get in)
-Jazz Band (no captain positions or anything.)
-All-Midstate band. Shooting for it again next year and the year after plus All-State.
-All-County band 1st chair this year. Most likely same next year and year after.
-All-Midstate Jazz Band. Most likely same next year and year after.
-Model UN
-Green Club (Helping out recycling and stuff like that)
-Scorekeeper/Stats guy for the baseball team. (Hey, I go to games for free, a little math is worth it.)
-I might make Beta Club or NHS. Not sure.
-Volunteer work at my church.

Possible Helpers
-I'm a strong Christian and strongly support the Episcopal Church.
-First generation to go to Sewanee. Dad went to Middle Tennessee State.
-This is my Harvard. I would kill to go here. This is my dream school.
-I WANT TO GO TO SEWANEE.
-I've always been praised for my writing, so I my essay(s) will be good.
-If I can find a way to pay for it, I'll apply ED.
-If I go, I'll join the football team and/or the soccer team.

Well, what are my chances to go?

Also, I know this isn't the place to ask, but how the heck to do pay $42k in tuition plus R&B? Can I get some scholarships? And would it be okay to get loans that large? I don't know if Sewanee will give me any money, so I don't know about that front.

Thanks for your time!

You're really smart to be asking the money question. So many kids just blindly apply and think the money will appear. Take the time now to run your family's info through the calculators on this site. Then look up financial aid policies at your schools, specifically looking at percentage of need met. If the school offers merit aid, see if they have stats for those who get it or look at the 50th percentile GPA and SAT scores. Don't expect much merit aid if you're not in the top 15% of applicants.

Once you've done this you'll have a realistic picture of what schools your family can afford.

Okay. I'll do that.

Well, disregarding money, chances?
