Chances for international student

Hi there, I know this is very long post, but I just want to give you all the details and context so I can have an accurate idea of my chances. I'll be really thankfull if you guys help me!!

I'm from Chile and I've always wanted to go to college in the US, as I don't really like chilean education... I never applied to any US school because of its high costs (specially for international students) and now I have just found out that Yale is blind-need even for international students! I've always loved Yale because of its great School of Arts (I wanna major in Arts) so you can imagine how strong my heart beated when I realized that it is not completely impossible for me to get in there. Even if it was a tiny possibility, it still made my eyes shine.

Then I started looking for information about the application proccess, how to get into Yale, etc. and that's how I found CC. As I started to read the admission discussions here, my eyes stopped shining. And I could say my heart broke a little too haha. People who had almost discovered the cure for cancer were wondering if they would get accepted or not. So I thought, how in the world am I gonna get accepted? Because I haven't found the cure for anything, or have won any contests, or met the president. I'm just a normal person who is really, really passionate about what she likes.
I really want this, so before I drop my illusions I would like to ask you guys if I'm only dreaming and there is no chance for me to get accepted, or if I actually may have a chance.

My Highschool experience hasn't been a normal one, so I don't really know if I'm eligible or not. In Freshman year, my mother had a job offer in Nairobi, Kenya and I convinced her to go, so we packed and lived there for 6 months. I did some volunteering there and it was an amazing experience... Well, when I came back to Chile there was no place for me in my Highschool and I had to transfer to another one. I was in this new Highschool for a year and a half when we moved to the country side of Chile, and I had to transfer again to my third Highschool, where I spent a year.
Since I was a little girl, I have always loved graphic design. I remember being 10 years old and spending tons of time just searching for digital art in the internet... It was such the passion I felt for it that I started learning from wherever I could, internet, books, etc. And in my Senior year, I had learned so much about graphic design that I could actually work as one and I was offered to go to the States and Ecuador to volunteer as a graphic designer for a fair-trade company that works with artisans from South America and helps them to have a better life. So I decided to go for a year. When I came back to Chile I took homeschooling exams and I finished Highschool, and this company offered me part-time online job. So this past year I've been working for them, playing the piano, and volunteering at an animal shelter and teaching illiterate adults to read.

Well. I transformed my chilean GPA to the US one by using a foreign gpa calculator and it says "Cumulative GPA: 3.70" which I don't know if it is bad or not. And I haven't take the SATs, but I took an online one at collegeboard.com and I got 2000, so I think if I study for it some months I could do better (English is not my native language so I have a lot of vocab to learn). The thing is I don't think I can get a very good Highschool transcript or any good recommendation letter from my teachers, since they all knew me for a very short time. Also I read Yale wants recommendation letters from theachers who taught you on junior or senior year, and the school I was in junior year got fired every teacher and hire new ones. And as I took homeschooling exams on Senior year I didn't have any teachers, I learned by my own...

Do you think I should apply ??
Thank you very much!!!
