ECs
-Breakfast club in 9th grade (Random peer leadership group selected by teachers)
-4 high school musicals in the pit orchestra playing flute
-Various college honor bands
-MMEA (Minnesota) Allstate band for 2 years
-Mentor to elementary school flute players
-3 years of marching band, (current section leader)
-Private music lessons for many, many years
-1 year of Quiz bowl
-2 years of high school youth service organization
-NHS (Vice president)
-A bunch of volunteering at my old elementary schools with a couple of my previous teachers

I'm hoping my dedication to music will look appealing to colleges to make up for a relative lack of participation in other sports or activities...hopefully

I also want to make it clear that I'm not EXPECTING to get into all of these schools, if even one. But, I would like to hear honest opinions and thoughts. I also have a couple back up schools and ballpark schools just to be safe. Thanks!

Your GPA is slightly below average for top schools disregarding the lack of rigorous, while your ACT is a little bit above average. Your EC is also below average. Your chance at these Ivy caliber schools is not high and probably around or below their acceptance average. You may consider other schools within the top 50s though.
