So I am currently a sophomore in Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota. I have a 3.74 GPA, 58 credits already (74 by the end of this semester). HS gpa is around 3.9. I am an international student. Finance Director in my student org. I am also a volunteer in Kids Against Hunger....

What are my chances?

oh, I am applying to UNC, UVa, Cornell, UCLA, and NYU. Econ Major.

I’m new to this, and don’t take this the wrong way, but why exactly doesn’t he have a very good shot at UCLA? His GPA is well above 3.2, which is the recommended GPA (at least) of a transfer student

he has some fine ec’s and I’m sure the international student thing is a plus, and he has a large amount of credits, at least enough to suggest that his success is sustainable

well your 75 credits will be a problem. most schools wont accept over 60 credits for transfer and alot wont accept over 45. so they porbably wont accept you if you only need a few credits to graduate

lol I didn’t know too many credits could be a problem… I am now in the business school and am going to transfer to econ major, which is normally not in a business school. I am sure I would lose lots of credits. So I would still need like 60 or more credits to graduate…
