chances for MIT

SAT: 2220
math - 760
cr - 660
writing - 800
(retaking SAT 1 in january for last time)
SAT II's:
Chemistry:800
Math II : 770
GPA: uw: 3.78 w: 4.5 (i switched schools, and thats when my gpa dropped a bit)
AP's: bio (5), calc BC (5), chem (4), eng lit (4), latin vergil (3), Euro (3)
AP's this year: gov, eng lang, latin lit, physics C (mechanics and electromag)
Essays: wrote both, i thought they were unique and good
Recs: good/great?
Summers: Tennis camps, raised money to open 3 schools in India, did research for 8 weeks at Harvard, published two poems, earned research grant for project, Harvard SSP'08 for physics, CTY chemistry, voluteer at hospital
EC's: founder/president of debate, model UN, part of math league, science bowl, started a research project club, piano(numerous guilds), captain of tennis team
State: Nevada
Type of school: private (no one at my schools has a 4.0 uw gpa, just to put it into perspective. and my school doesn't rank)</p>

<p>So what are my chances for MIT? Will my gpa bring me down?</p>

<p>I think your stats sound impressive over all. Perhaps if you score higher in the upcoming SAT test. . . thought I tend to wonder more about your essays and recommendations.<br>

<p>ur GPA is a slight hurt, i think ur SAT is fine, its all about the essay
a 8,9,10/10 on ur essay and id say high match

<p>i'm thinking of majoring in biology, maybe pre-med but that's not definite at all</p>
