k, very quick chances thread
E. engineering major btw

ACT - 33 comp
SAT II - 760 MathIIC, 720 physics, 750 U.S.

AP's - World: 4, Stats: 4, Calc BC: 5, AP U.S.:4, AP Lang: 4, AP Physics M: 4

college classes: calc III(multi-variable), diff equations, lin. algebra, physics E/M, maybe the other misc. physics class

GPA (low point.....) 3.8 UW not sure about Weighted
i'm pretty sure i'm top 10/530+

just curious, but how much would it affect my chances if my GPA was 3.6/3.7?

EC's

schools:
stanford
UC Berkeley (i'm cal resident)
UCLA
UCSD

In at all schools. Unless you are a cold drooling troll. I have no problems with troll based college discrimination. Forgive this skeptic, hey?

cold drooling troll? o.O

no....

Stanford: Good Chance
UCs: Match

Good luck =)

stanford is a reach. with those SATs (1480/1600), stanford is areach.

if you wnat to have a shot at stanford, SAT on old scale should be > 1500.

r u talking about the sum of hte SAT II's? or the SAT equivalent of my ACT?

how is stanford a good cahnce. OP is in easy at all ucs, but stanford is a reach, espeically considering the OP is going into EE. many top double e schools are not top schools overall (Illinois-Urbana, Ga Tech), consider them for cash money.

would the fact that most of my research has been in ee and/or cs help?

i mean....i'm patenting one of my products and attempting to actually implement it in the "real world"

Coolphreak:

UCB/UCLA: Match (Engineering)
UCSD: Safe Match (Engineering)
