I am applying to Northeastern University in Boston, MA as well as Villanova. I am aware that these are reach schools for me, but I am curious as to my chances of acceptance.

Weighted Grade: approximately 97%

Unweighted Grade: approximately 95%

ECs: Crew, violin, NHS president, science club rep., student council member, golf, soccer managing, yearbook designer and some volunteering

Class Rank: 6/160

SATs (not good:(
m580 cr640 and w570 I took sats again recently but scores are still pending.

Thanks so much for your input and time! I really appreciate it

Northeastern has become increasingly more difficult to get into and although you are on the lower end, your gpa is good and ecs are good so I think you have a good shot!

Your SATs are definitely a setback. Your GPA and ranking is pretty nice, but then it makes me wonder if you go to a school with a rigorous curriculum or if you’re challenging yourself. Your high school transcript is really important. Have you been taking honors courses and AP courses?

Yeah I know my SATs are a setback. I have taken all honors classes and AP classes and I have been challenging myself. Do you think the odds are against me due to my SATs though? Thanks for your input
