No SATIIs or APs
-Junior
GPA: 3.0
Elite Private Quaker School in Philadelphia, PA
-School doesn't offer APs and doesn't give awards, rank, etc, but I'm definetely in top 20% of class.

Extra Curriculars:
Choir: 9-11. Will be either Tenor section leader next year or president.

You are probably in. Its not that hard to get into.

As I mentioned before, though, I don't think it's a school that you should consider. I think that with your elite, private Quaker education, you will be far more prepared than are most of the students at that school.

There also are far better schools to prepare you for the journalism career you have expressed interest in. Even Temple in your hometown has, I think, a better reputation for preparing journalists. Howard, Hampton, Florida A&M are among HBCUs with accredited journalism schools. Howard and Florida A&M in particularly have a very nice, well-deserved reputation for journalism education, and their students do well in the job market, too.
