Chances for Prep Schools? Applying for 11th

Hello, due to family circumstances I was encouraged to apply to some US boarding schools for my 11th year. I’m already attending an international school in a different country, but the fees are pretty expensive so I’m relying on getting accepted with *financial aid for now.

*Applying for Financial aid

Schools: Lake Forest Academy, Annie Wright, American Heritage Schools
*Parents won’t let me apply to more schools, they’re pretty set on Annie Wright due to its location

Freshman: All A’s (96-100) (+Geometry, Alg 2, biology)
Sophomore (Current): All A’s (97-101) Physics, AP csp, AP economics, AP psych, precalc, history, 11th grade English

PSAT: 1340

Extracurriculars:
MUN (4hrs/week), STEM (4hrs/week)
*Piano - 3 years, Swimming - 3 years (both non-competitive)

Awards:
-Excellence in Computer Science Award
-1st Place Academic Achievement Award

I had to look up Annie Wright in Washington State! It’s about $55,000 for boarding school.

I believe your parents may be trying to manage expenses. If possible see if your family can come to understand that the sticker price is not what you pay for boarding school. While you need financial aid, a higher price boarding school may be overall less expensive due to more generous financial aid.

Good luck with schools. You’re a good candidate and can apply more broadly.
