Volunteering: Used to volunteer at the local science center as a Recreational Programs Volunteer. We basically host science programs in and around the science center, and I help out by explaining the exhibits to younger kids.

Teacher Recommendation: I know my physics teacher really well and I’m sure he’ll write a stellar recommendation.

Counselor: I’m sure he’ll write me a good recommendation letter as I’ve taken the time to get to know him better throughout the years.

Your physics credentials are very strong, and you have a competitive overall background. Being a Canadian asian male STEM applicant hurts, but you have a decent shot.

Also, you plan to major in physics or engineering, and are taking no math or science courses your senior year? That isn’t going to help you.

@thumper1 I’ve already taken all the science and math courses that my school offers, so those are the only options for me.
