<p>So I didn't get an invite to mosaic (Filipino), which is a pretty negative sign. Not too optimistic about my chances at Vanderbilt now, but it's not that big of a deal since Vanderbilt is my reach school anyways. Anywho, might as well get my chances now so I can know what to expect in April:</p>

<p>First of all, I wouldn’t be so hard on yourself. I think I read on the Vanderbilt website that they invite like 200 kids to MOSAIC and I’m sure there are WAY more than 200 minority students who are qualified for Vanderbilt and will ultimately be accepted. I’d say you’re a pretty strong candidate and I would think that being in Hawaii would also help you. Good luck.</p>
