Why are you interested in SESP and social policy? Have you visited the campus and attended a SESP session for potential applicants?

I once participated in the high school student protest against the government policy and after that, I chose to pursue this major. Would yousay visiting the campus and going to the session pretty important? Cuz I think I won’t be able to visit the campus

Being outside of the top 10% can hurt but good thing you’re applying ED. Your profile doesn’t scream “SESP” applicant so you have to make your case in your essays.

I agree with wildcatalum. SESP/social policy is a specialty program so your essay will be critical. One of the reasons I suggest visiting is to make sure that it is the right program for you, and because it will help you in crafting your essay. Based on the numbers you have a reasonable chance.

All I can say is that your SAT (I and II) and AP scores are sweet man. If I had to chance you it would be like 9.6/10 just off the top of my head.
