Chances for sophomore entering junior year

I am a sophomore going into junior year, and i want to see what kind of colleges i should be preparing for. Some of the scores like the SAT and PSAt are predicted from the practice tests that i have taken.

I live in New Jersey and attend VERY competitive small public school (33% asian...) At one point school was ranked #1 public school in NJ (about 3-4 years ago). This year we sent 3 or 4 seniors to princeton and a bunch to all the Ivies (except stanford...they dont seem to like my school).

Sex/Race: Male/Asian

GPA: 3.72 U about 4.2 W
SAT [Prediction]: 2250 will probably get high 700s for math and mid to low for CR and Writing
SAT II: 770 chem. will be taking SAT II chinese and USH
AP: Chem 5
Schedule:
9th
World History A
Orchestra A
Geometry HNS B (doh...i should have gotten A but i slept in class)

Algebra 2 honors A
AP chemistry (got credit for chem over summer) B (doh)
English 2 honors B (i need to improve writing)
Chinese 4 HNS A

My 11th Grade Schedule

Chemagination regional winner

So my schools are:
Upenn (not wharton) -most likely ED
NYU
Rutgers
Cornell
Carnegie-Mellon

Extra bit: my private fencing coach is now the head coach of Upenn. my High school fencing coach is a upenn alum. I will get 1 or both for recommendation.

THANK YOU SO MUCH! I know it can be hard if my credentials arent set, but i just want to gauge what schools are available for me

Your ECs are definitely weak for UPenn. Need to boost those (and find some that are more legitimate…). SAT II Chinese is considered weak too, assuming you’re Chinese. Do it in something else.

Otherwise, keep the grades up.

THANKS, i will also be taking biology SAT II.
I will hopefully be able to find an internship at a chem/bio lab within the next year

I’d also check into BU and University of Rochester.

How did you predict your SAT score? PSAT or fortune teller?

AP Calc is far more rigorous and impressive than Stats. Nothing wrong with Stats, but it’s “soft” and you should definitely take Calc as well. Unless you really hate math.

fail. You aren’t good enough to match the standards AA sets for us.

?? what are the standards? what is AA?
