I am in 9th grade applying for 10th grade at Kent, Taft, Choate and Hopkins. I want to get in more than anything in the world. I am a Caucasian male, I have a B+ A- average, I currently attend a pretty good private school. I did really well on all my interviews and talked with many coaches for soccer. Me and the coach at Taft played for the same team and we instantly clicked. I also play basketball and run track and do community service and I am almost an Eagle Scout. I was an average 63% on my tests. My math was 91%. I am in model UN and debate club. Coaches are currently looking at me. I also need financial aid. Can anyone tell me anything about my odds of getting in and getting financial aid? It would be a huge help I’m under a lot of stress.
No one here can tell you what your chances are. The only people who can do that are the AOs. I know that the waiting is stressful, AND there is nothing you can do to change the fact that you and everyone else is waiting for decisions on March 10. Turn your attention to other things in the meantime. Do your best work at school. Sign up for some community service work. Clean your room. Whatever… just realize that ruminating about this is not going to help you and is not going to change the outcome. Good luck.
