Chances for the Foxcroft School?

What are my chances to admission to boarding school? I am a prospective student currently in 8th grade applying for 9th grade and financial aid to an all girl’s school where:

-The acceptance rate is around 80%
-Average SSAT score is 60%
-Average aid grant for boarders is around $31,000

As for me, I have:

-Straight A’s-4.0 GPA
-I haven’t taken my SSAT yet, but I got a 2283/2400 on the practice.

  • I volunteer for 4 1/2 hours every week.
  • Received awards for innovation and creativity in Social Studies, Citizenship in P.E, Academic Excellence in English, and innovation and creativity in Art.
    -Sports: Soccer and also equestrian.
    -I play the violin
-Participated in Scholastic Arts and Writing (Haven’t heard the results from them yet)
-English REC: Blinded, but she’s been my teacher for two years now and she’s the one who gave me the award. I like to think we have a good relationship. So I’m betting the rec was good.
-Math rec (Algebra): BLINDED. I get good grades my tests scores are almost perfect (off by one or .5 in a lot of tests). We have a relationship where she tries to get me to speak to her more often and she jokes around with me. I think the rec would be good save for maybe some things about my shyness.
-Counselor rec. SHES LIKE, NEVER AT SCHOOL??!? HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO TURN IT IN TO HER?!?
  • I know there’s this thing with underrepresented people…So uh, I’m a 13 year old Indonesian Muslim girl?

…Completing my whole application after the traditional deadline…

P.S If I explain my situation about the after the deadline thing during the interview, ya reckon they’ll consider to put me in priority…?

So do you think I’ll get in? Accepted for financial aid? Thank you for the feedback!

When are you planning on taking the SSAT? Have you talked with the school about the fact that your application is still not complete?

I’m taking it on the 11th. I wanted to take it in Jan, before the deadline, but there were no slots left in any of the schools in my state, and there isn’t an educational consultant in my state either. Do you think it’ll help if I explain that to the school?

The Foxcroft website says that applications received after February 1 will be considered on a rolling basis. You should reach out to their admissions office and discuss your situation directly.
