<p>I plan to transfer to penn as a rising junior next year. A math major with a 3.8 GPA.
HS: 4.0 non-weighed.
SAT: 2200, both 800 for Math Lvl 2 and Physics.
Notable ECs: entrepreneur of a restaurant. many charity activities.
I want to transfer because I do not like the social scene in Midwest. I don't like pre-med at all but it seems everyone here is doing this. I am gay and find there's not enough LGBT activities here in WashU. Also, I want more east coast liberal atmosphere... </p>
<p>Please chance me! I think I should add more details to my EC. I founded a mentor group for students in high school. i have raised money for patients with a special disease (founder). And many clubs, including LGBT Pride, Science, Finance. In high school, I was admitted by some Top 20 colleges such as Vandy, Cornell, NU. I will apply for math major in Penn CAS. </p>
<p>I think you have a great chance of acceptance. You have a great GPA in a very rigorous major at a top school and have a good reason for wanting to transfer to Penn.</p>
