Chances for Tufts?

Hey guys. So I'm going to be a senior this fall, and I'm really interested in Tufts (#1 choice right now) and based on the information I have now, I just want to get an honest opinion on my chances of getting in. So here it goes:

SAT - 2170
Math - 650 Reading - 770 Writing - 750
SAT II: US History - 700 Lit - 680

APs: European History, U.S. History, American Literature, Physics, Computer Science, Spanish V, Psychology, Government, World Literature
The rest of my courses have all been honors (when available) with the exception of math, where I'm in the normal track.

Activities:
- Knowledge Masters 9th grade, team got 2nd in the state
- Band: 5th-12th grade, principal oboist, lettered twice, received multiple awards for various solo and ensemble competitions. I'll also be Drum Major this fall for my high school's marching band. Additionally, I'm principal oboist for MYS, a fairly prestigious state youth orchestra, which I participated in my junior year and will participate in as a senior. I plan on continuing oboe in college.
- Community service:
- Girl Scout for 12 years (Bronze Award, although that was in 6th grade so I'm not sure if that counts)
- Lettered in community service
- Participate in my high school's environmental club and I tutor
- Will be writing coach for my high school's writing center 2011-2012
Sports: Not much prestige in this category, I tried out diving for a year in 10th grade and placed in the top 10 for JV champs. I also did Cross-Country Skiing for 2 years but was only on JV.
Misc: I went to a camp last summer where we portaged in southern Canada for two weeks while conducting an experiment out in the wild. You get science credit for doing it, and my group did an experiment centered on water quality and its effect on ecosystems.

Overall I'm not too worried about the majority of my application. My extracurriculars and test scores are strong; I know my guidance counselor well, as well as the two teachers who will be writing my teacher recs (AP American Literature + honors Biology); nor am I worried about my essays. Really, I'm just worried about my grades; I was diagnosed with ADD-Inattentive May of my Junior year, and up until that point my GPA was pretty subpar, at least for my potential/what Tufts expects. However, my 2nd semester Junior grades jumped to a 3.7 UW and, assuming I do well fall senior year, my grades will be up to an accumulative GPA of about 3.5 UW, 3.7 W. For awhile I was considering doing ED, but now I actually think it would be beneficial to wait it out and apply RD so that admissions will be able to see my 1st semester senior grades/classes.

Soo, I guess what I am asking is a) whether I should do ED or RD and b) my chances of getting in with the current stats that I have. I'm new to this site, but it seems as though threads like this are pretty common, so I'd really appreciate some feedback :)

Thanks!

I’d say mid reach, if you really want to go then ED it. You could send in a music supplement?

I would say to mid to low reach
If you shine in your essays and put up a good music supplement why you might get in
If its your first choice apply ED right away

Tufts has EDII in February, which works the same as EDI but would give you the benefit of sending your first semester senior grades.
