Chances for UCB, UChicago, Northwestern, and NYU

SAT1: 2240 Math/Reading/Writing 800/680/760
SAT2: 800/780/760/710 Math2/Chemistry/Physics/World History
AP Tests: 5 5 4 4 Russian/Chemistry/US/World

Senior Courseload
AP Physics C, AP US Government, AP BC Calculus, Honors English

Weighted GPA : 98.55 Which is decent for my school but it does not rank. Many people have over 100 but very few people broke 2200 SAT score.

Don't have much time to list EC's but I will say they are not outstanding but nothing alarming, (very average for most applicants to these schools). For example I have several sports and leadership positions in clubs, etc.

Currently in a nationwide forensics competition sponsored by NYU poly and hoping to have a good result there.

IDK if I forgot anything so chance me and I'll chance you back. Thanks

I'll be applying for a math major and I have some good extra-curicculars related to math and I can easily convey my love for math in words if the essay gives me the option to. Also I have taken a college level math course last year.

Thanksss

I'll chance back

Out of state for Berkeley btw

i never get any replies o.O

Excellent shot at Berkeley and NYU-but you can’t need aid.

Reasonable shot at others if your grades are close to top of class. Even when schools don’t rank, they give grade distribution data so colleges will know where you are in your class.

There is no AP Russian test. It is experimental. You cannot put it on your app. Well, you can. But you need to make it clear that it is experimental.

Yes I am not entering it as an official test of course.

NYU and Berkeley will reject me if I will be applying for aid?

Berkeley has zero aid for out of state students and NYU does not meet need for most. So you could well get in and not be able to go if aid is needed. Make sure to have financial safeties.

Oh I’ll be taking loans out >.> My need based aid will probably be pathetically low anyway.

Would you say Berkeley and NYU are matches?

NYU is a match but I think you are seriously underestimating the selectivity of oos Berkeley.

What would you say?

bumphhhhhgg
