I'm applying to (in state):
- UC Berkeley
- UCLA
- UC Davis
- UC Irvine
- UC San Diego

UC GPA: 3.97
- Acad 10-12: 4.00 (1 out of 551 approx)
- Acad 9-12: 3.9769 (8 out of 551 approx)
- Acad Overall: 3.9576 (10 out of 551 approx)
- Acad Overall Weighted (61 out of 551 approx)

Honors/AP courses:
Unfortunately none. (My first high school does not offer honors/AP courses for freshmen and sophomores; my second high school does not offer honors/AP courses) but currently taking Macroeconomics AP, Government AP, and Statistics AP

SAT Reasoning: CR/M/Wr - 670/800/710 - 2180
SAT Subjects:
- Math Level 2 - 800
- US History - 710

ECs:
- Heavy involvement with church
- Tennis (JV) during sophomore year
- Tutoring (paid... but under the table; anyway I can put this on my app?)
- PAVA Jr. (volunteer club, but it was started this year... I am on the board though)

Honors/Awards:
Nothing, unfortunately. I did qualify for National Merit last year and I have that little certificate thing, but I never made it any further.

The big problem with me is that during the latter half of sophomore year, I was suspended for a week and then transferred (not formally expelled) to my city's school district (the school I was first attending was in another city, part of another district). I was placed on a independent study program as I went under psychiatric eval., and then I had to attend a "community day school" for the first semester of my junior year. That's a place for low attendance students and kids that have been expelled or arrested :(. Then I was able to attend a normal high school starting the second semester of junior year. So I was never arrested or actually expelled.

I have spoken to people about it, including several college counselors (and a topic I posted about a year ago said I had no chance for the top 20 unis, which is fine), and they say although this will set me back, I should have no problem for UCs.

My first personal statement focuses on my mental growth involving social justice and my church, and my second personal statement discusses a social experiment I did involving courtesy and kindness.

Now, how exactly do you think I'll fare for admissions?
