Chances for UCBerkeley and UCLA???

Backround: Half White, Half Armenian. I am a lesbian female living in Southern California, with parents that make about 350k a year

—STATS—

32 Composite ACT; 33 English, 28 Mathematics, 35 Reading, 31 Science, 31 English Lang, 8 Writing. I am applying as an Economics/ Business Economics major (unsure what career path though!)

UC GPA Weighted: 4.22 (my actual weighted GPA is higher, I think like 4.35 or something like that. Please note that I have gotten straight A’s with one B and one C.) Unweighted: 3.89

IMPORTANT I have a reason for the C in Honors Math Analysis my second semester of junior year. Here is what I wrote: “During the second semester of 11th grade, I would often have to leave school during lunch in order to drive my grandfather to City of Hope for medical treatments. Unfortunately, sometimes I would not make it back to my fifth period (Honors Math Analysis) on time. I missed several crucial lessons, especially right before finals, contributing to the C earned in the class.” Is this a sufficiant reason to overlook the grade? I got an A first semester.

I have taken 5 AP Classes; 5 in APUSH English Lang and Human Geo, 4 In European History, and 3 in Art History. My dumbass decided to take 5 ap classes this year and I think I will do well (mostly A’s.)

—ESSAYS—

How I became president of the LGBT club and used teamwork to help revive the club from 4 members to currently over 20. (Leadership Experience question)

My stock market investments. I am very active in the stock market and use world news to help spur my penny stock purchases, as well as how I created a system to prevent myself from risky stocks dropping in value (I have been told this is very good. It answers the creativity question.)

I made a basic financial advice presentation and presented it to all the AP Economics classes at my school. Teachers asked me to do it after I made some worksheets for my friends with money tips. My school offers no resources with this sort of thing. (Contributing to group efforts over time.)

My struggle with cystic acne and how it ultimately made me a better and less judgemental person, and how I use my ability to overcome that inspiration for myself to succeed. “If I could overcome then, I can overcome now.” (Anything Else the Uc would like to know)
