UCSD: Match
UCSB: Low Reach; depends on your rec’s, essay and/or interview
UCD: Reach; depends on your rec’s, essay and/or interview
UCLA: Reach; depends on your rec’s, essay and/or interview
UCB:High Reach; depends on your rec’s, essay and/or interview

what does “high match” mean?

@satstudybuddy i think it means that it’s similar to a match but you won’t have as high of a chance of getting admitted as a “match” school. thanks pats and jfarmarucla for chancing btw

Actually, i thought a ‘high match’ school was easier to get into than a ‘match’ school. Anyway, doesnt really matter. Your welcome mordeesuno and good luck.

^^ low match is easier to get into.
In order:
High Reach
Reach
Low Reach
High Match
Match
Low Match
Safety
OT:
like above^^
UCSB: Match
UCSD: Low Reach
UCD: High Match
UCLA: Reach
UCB: Reach

Are you a URM? (no racism- just looked at your name) If you are, that might increase your chances at higher UCs (UCSD, UCLA, UCB)

That GPA is a bit low but your SAT’s are good.

Edit: wait just looked at other chance threads and realized a lot of people were using low match as having lower chances than high match so I might be wrong…

Low GPA and weak ECs are going to hurt you
I’d say
UCB: Reach
UCLA: Reach
UCSD: Low Reach/High Match
UCSB: Match
UCD: Match
UCI: Match

UCSB: Match
UCSD: High Match
UCD: Match
UCLA: Reach
UCB: Reach

There is a significant difference in admissions standard between UCSD and the top two UCs.
