Chances for University of Washington

Hi all,

Although my chances of getting into University of Washington appear statistically high based on data collected from my own high school’s applicants, I can’t help but feel very anxious for this upcoming March because UW is by far by #1 choice school. I am worried about my unweighted GPA as UW’s 50% range is an intimidating 3.75-3.95, and I’ve also gotten a total of 4 C’s between AB Calc, Adv. Precalc, and PIB Latin 3. Hopefully, my rigorous schedule will make up for these weaknesses in my application. How confident should I feel about my chances? Thx for reading!

Unweighted GPA: 3.51
Weighted GPA: 4.19
Academic Rigor: 8 AP/IB courses between 11th and 12th grade, nearly all PIB classes between 9th and 10th grade).
SAT: 1350, 720 math, 630 reading/writing (This superscore may go up depending on my results of the December SAT).

Extracurriculars:
Tennis (On varsity team all four years, Individual and team state champion in 12th grade, co-captain in 12th grade, athlete of the week in 12th grade, out-of-state tournament player, assistant coach for newer players)
Full time summer job at Safeway (since 10th grade)
Weekly volunteering job helping senior citizens with technology (since late 11th grade)
Competitive chess player (since 9th grade)

Note: I’m an out-of-state student.
