thanks so much!!!!

For med/biotech intended major (Just guessing from what you have), your classes and EC’s show a good well roundedness… that’s pretty good (esp. since many students intending on stuff like that are bio losers).

AP’s, SAT II (so far), and EC’s are excellent or phenomonal. Though UPenn and Yale are crapshots for everyone, but you stand a good chance. Little bttr than reaches (forgetting if its low or high). Though if there’s anything you should consider, it’d be your SAT’s CR score. I’d personally pull that into the 700’s at least, and try curving the entire score into the 2300 range (not necessary really, but it’d help).

Forgive me if I’m incorrectly assuming, but if your Afghani (like the Muslim), you’ve got some good essay topics (how it felt to watch as the country your parents always talked about drooling was being torn apart, etc.). If I’m wrong as to this, please, forgive me (this is kind of a sensitive issue nowadays, you know)

You did MMLA last year? Hah, so did I, but I was in French.

You and I have pretty similar stats, and I’m going for similar schools. Good luck; I’m sure you know you have a good shot, but that these schools are insane.

@ HonorLions… Thanks I do try to stay well rounded. It seems like Penn likes well roundedness because I was at the grad for my cousin yesterday and they were talking about how important it is for high schools to not specialize (I specialize in Med at my school -_- haha). I think if I can nail Bio/Chem and I definitely need to raise my CR score to at least a 730, then I have a better shot.

And I happen to half Afghani and half Irani. I plan to write about getting chastised during 9/11 as just a 3rd grader because it shaped me as a person, taking criticism for something that I had nothing to do with when I loved America.

@ Cranberry … Thanks, good luck to you too. Haha I was in the Spanish camp actually… it was a great experience and I was good friends with chloe from the french camp she was so nice haha

More chancing anyone? thanks

i love you babe

BUMP: I will chance anyone who chances me from here on

Interesting extracurriculars, but your SAT and GPA are a bit on the low side as an ethnically Middle-Eastern applicant at Yale. I can see Penn and Vandy happening, though.

Keep in mind that you can’t apply to both Penn ED and Yale EA.
