I'm going to sign up for my school's literary magazine (the magazine was voted best in the nation in 2010 by American Scholastic Press Association.)
I'm thinking about signing up for Model UN

I want to go to Yale because I believe it will be a great place for me to develop intellectually and to be in an environment of people that will add to my life. I also love the history of the university. The traditions such as the Harvard Yale regatta and all the "secret societies"

A little more about me:
I read books of all genres from children's fantasy, crime, philosophy etc...
I love writing it's something I do almost daily and my friends say i'm good.
My thirst for knowledge is pretty intense. I seldom watch tv when I do it's some documentary on the history or science channel. Some areas I've thought of majoring in are: History,Political Science, Public Health, and Physics

Give me all the criticism you can think of. I want to know what I can work on. I think my math skills need to improve greatly and that I should do more EC's out of school that relate to my major.

Hi! Umm, honestly I would say its just…way too early to tell. Junior year is probably where I put my interests forward and was allowed to take more AP’s, and that’s when I took PSAT, SAT I, SAT II, etc. so it really defined me better, I think.

However, I can give you advice because you’re off to a nice early start- great! If you really love running, stick to it for as many years as you can. And try to rack up awards, and do some preparing for the PSAT (and take it just for a practice) while you’re a sophomore.

You’re lucky to be good at reading/writing, because that’s most of the SAT. Getting solid scores on Crit Reading and Writing(and the essay) will really boost your overall score. SO KEEP READING!! Read more books that are “classics” and widely studied in schools, not so much the fantasy books (tho I like 'em…) If you feel weaker in math get a tutor, summer enrichment class, or study up SAT math thru a book.

And look for summer programs that involve your interests. You sound like a promising student but might want to build up more EC. Oh and…explore a bunch of other colleges too. But above all just be you. Hope this helps :]

I think if you keep your grades up and maybe improve your ecs a bit (maybe show leadership in one or two of them) you might have a good chance. It is a little early to know but start doing things now so you can show that you are consistent with your ecs!
Good luck
