Do I have any chance of acceptance into Vassar? Honesty Please! What can I do now, as a rising senior to increase my chances?

THANKS FOR ANYTHING YOU CAN OFFER!!

what is your race? and why are you so horrible at mathematics?

your ECs are amazing - quite varied, and quite strong, you provide many examples of leadership.

your GPA is, honestly, low - but with a letter of explanation, especially since it is an upward trend - might end up being ok.

are you taking several APs this year??? that will help.

also... if you can (financially), and you know that vassar is where you want to go - you could apply early decision. that would help.

good luck!!! :)

are you planning on swimming in college? because then you could contact the coach, who could recommend you to the adcom

Thanks for all your input!

I'm white and I am terrible at math because I have a "learning disability" specific to math. Although I'm not sure I agree with that diagnosis, math is definately challenging for me.

I would like to swim in college, so it would definately be beneficial to me to contact the coach. Thanks!

well study up on your math and retake the sat's a few times. atleast get the math score up into the 600's. also, when the time comes, write unique/awesome essays.

know that college admissions are unpredictable and unjustified.

Why don't you just ask your college counselor?? Or call admissions? Or just apply and see what happens—your chances increase quite a bit by simply applying.

No one here knows what your chances are.
