chances if sibling attends

Do my chances of being accepted increase if I have a singling who is currently an undergrad ? If so by how much?

legacy only includes parents/grandparents ( I think )

A friend of mine and her husband both went to Princeton and they have two children. One got in, one didn’t.

I do see a lot of siblings at Cornell. Both of kids went to Cornell and my two nephews are there too. You won’t necessary get a legacy bump, but by applying ED and if your sibling is in good standing would probably help you. Your “Why Cornell” essay will be a lot better too, that’s where I would bring up the fact you have a sibling at Cornell.
