Almost all of my classes have been atleast honors, I have consistently been taking almost all GT and AP classes
I am in the Humanities program in my school. The program combined social studies and english together and is 4 years long. Only about 30 students are accepted each year and are relatively the brightest in their respective classes.</p>

<p>You have a good chance. Your GPA is a little low, but with those SAT scores (amazing) your in reach. Considering your MSA (really cool! Though prove that you did something substantial) exp. too, the admission comm. will look into people w/ background in minority clubs. You should also consider JHU and UMBC. They also have great academic programs in the sciences and active MSAs’.</p>

<p>Your GPA is a little low but last I checked avg. GPA for admitted students is 3.8 WEIGHTED so you are above the avg. on that. Not to mention waaaay above average for SAT scores. And you have much better ECs than most, too.</p>

<p>It’s too bad your GPA is as it is otherwise you would be looking at decent scholarships. As it stands don’t think you’ll get anything but who knows with those SAT scores, right?</p>
