Chances Next Year

<p>What are my chances at the Cal State and UC schools. (assuming that I do good on the ACT and SAT II which I plan to take in June)</p>

<p>3.4 UC GPA
I'm currently taking 2 AP classes but I plan to take 5 IB classes during my senior year and hopefully try to get my IB Diploma. I also plan to intern starting in August. </p>

<p>My ECs include: member of the Model UN Club and I hold a part time job at Mcdonalds. I think I may do some volunteer work next month.</p>

<p>I'm hispanic and live in a one parent household making under $30,000 a year.</p>

<p>To be honest, there really isn't enough data to say one way or the other. Take your ACTs and SATIIs first. It's hard to say where you can go based on GPA alone.</p>

<p>Ok. That's better! My suggestion: stick with the UCs. You can carve out a solid plan just by picking from them. My suggestions:</p>

UC Riverside</p>

<p>Levels
UC Davis
UC Santa Barbara
UC Santa Cruz</p>

<p>Reaches
UC Irvine
UC San Diego
(If you'd like, you can add UCLA and UC-Berkelely just for the heck of it...)</p>
