Chances of a postgraduate year

Hi,
I am currently a senior at Pinkerton Academy and I am hoping for an acceptance to a postgraduate year at a boarding school. I am planning on applying to colleges as well but I'm not confident with my application, I went through a rough time my junior year and my grades suffered a bit (C in pre-calc and C+ in honors chem). I think that I could benefit from another year of school to strengthen my academics and also my 2k and rowing status. Listed below are some of my academic stats and standings.

Academic honors:
National Honors Society
Rho Kappa Honors Society (I was accepted at my old school) and I am currently drafting a proposal for a Pinkerton chapter
New Hampshire Scholars Program
I received many English writing awards when I was younger but I'm not sure they apply anymore.

Clubs/Extracurricular activities/sports:
Robotics (I also started a vex robotics team at my old school and am on the team at my current school)
I row crew at my current school
I am a part of a program called the "Academy Mentor Program" which helps the incoming freshman at my school adjust.

Volunteer:
I volunteered at a children's science center one summer
I volunteered at the boys and girls club in my town after school helping out the kids with their homework
I was in a Key Club at my old school (we would participate in local charitable events)

Academics: :(
I have generally been a good student but I don't think that my transcripts are good enough for the college of my choice. I have always taken relatively challenging courses (Honors and AP) and received As and high Bs. My junior year grades hurt a little but I am trying to redeem myself during senior year and hopefully at a boarding school during a postgraduate year. Junior year I had As and high Bs... except for pre-calc and honors Chem in which I received Cs. This year I have stayed on top of things and prioritized my school work. I am currently in honors physics, AP Stats, AP Euro, CP English (Junior year I took AP Lang and Comp and received an A), public speaking and media and communications. The first quarter of senior year I received all As and have been maintaining them. I currently have a weighted gpa of a 93 and I think an unweighted of an 88. I am at least in the top 25% of my class (which has 700 students in it).

(sorry for any spelling or grammar mistakes I was typing this in a hurry).

Thank you for taking the time to read this and give any feedback.

I am looking at schools like Exeter, Andover, Taft, Deerfield, Loomis Chaffee, etc.
