Chances of Admission?

Hi! I visited Marquette and I am really interested in going. I was wondering what my chances of admission are (at least in your opinion).

I go to a boarding school. I’m first generation going to college and first generation born in the United States (my family is from Mexico). I am also an out of state applicant (Illinois).

Intended Major: Clinical Laboratory Science (College of Health Sciences)
ACT: 27
Unweighted GPA: 3.29
Weighted GPA: 3.72

List of Extracurriculars on the application I submitted:

Theatre/Drama
Stage Manager (12)
Participated 9, 10, 11, 12

Work (Paid)
Golf Caddie
Participated 10, 11, 12

Debate Speech
Model UN Cohead (12)
Participated 10, 11, 12

Peer Educator (student leader that’s basically like an RA)
Participated 11, 12

Conduct Review Committee Member
Participated 9, 10, 11, 12

Race Walking
Participated 11, 12

I don’t know how this influences my application but I also won a scholarship that pays for full tuition and housing for four years.

Thanks.

I think you have a pretty good chance. Your academic stats are low-average, but your ECs seem pretty good and you have a hook of being first generation. Good luck!

@diamondking2 Thank you very much! I hope that my ECs make up for my low stats.
