I have an unweighted average of 92.2 which concerns me, however i do take honors classes such as AP Lang, AP Lit, Honors Chemistry, Honors Physics, Honors Trig, Honors Calculus, AP Chemistry, and AP Psychology. I am a volunteer at Ozanam Hall Nursing home, which St. John's is involved with. I also am a peer counselor and drug and alcohol prevention counselor. I volunteer in two activities each quarter with the key club, as well as spend one free period every week in school at a local school for children with disabilities.

My current SAT score is a 1790, but it was the first time i took the SAT and i plan on raising that score atleast to a 1900.

I also plan on taking SAT IIs in Math Level I & Chemistry, even though St. John's doesn't take these scores.

My recommendation letters should be excellent. my essay is about over coming the obstacles i have faced over the past three years since my dad is an alcoholic and lost his job (IE me taking on a job, balancing basic household activities with difficult course loads, coping emotionally, ect)

Originally i had planned to apply to Sophie Davis, as i want to be a doctor more than anything else, but my GPA is holding back my potential.

Thanks!
