Thank you!!
And uh, thanks for all the replies, even from you @Panko
Iâll take the SSAT again in a month, not sure if the admission office would take the results as I had already submitted the old ones, but Iâm really new to prep school in general and this is my first time applying and doing everything.
I would apply again next year if youâre rejected. Apply as a repeat 9th grader. If you hit me up with a DM, I would be willing to help you. I was in a similar position as you so I relate to how you feel.
Thanks!! ⊠question, I dont know how this website works so where do I DM you?
do you have discord?
Howâd your interviews go? You can gauge a decent bit from them.
Also, howâd you feel overall when you visited each campus (if you did)? Your excitement will show a lot more if you really felt the placeâs vibesâthose schools are all pretty different.
cringe as hell but yea my username is DiamondFlames#8422 make sure the d and f are cap :D.
The interviews in my opinion went pretty well (I literally cried in 3 of them cause I got kinda emotional talking about some things and just all the stress buildup in general) and I was very interested when I went to one or two if the campuses, but I wouldnât say Iâd be in anyoneâs memory or left an impact.
Sadly, it doesnât.
Wyoming, thoughâŠ
Whats your discord?
If your submitting to schools that are not test required I donât see why you need it. I myself submitted my application to Choate with no test, I got invited to an in person potential student meetup. Of course these arenât guarantees, but I feel that not submitting the test made them appreciate me more as a person. Same thing with Hotchkiss. I wouldnât know about Andover, since I didnât want to apply there, but the Hotchkiss and Choate staff didnât treat me any differently because I wasnât going to give them a test. Wishing you the best!
Thank you so much! Let me know if you do get in, that would be awesome. Especially because everyone always makes it seem like the ssats are a huge impact. :).
I know Choate day isnât here yet, but so far Iâve gotten into two schools! (Chatham Hall and Foxcroft)
