Chances of getting in

I am trying to apply for economics major.
SAT score: 1300
GPA weighted average : 4.0 ; from British Curriculum, AS level in year 12 :
Economics - A
Maths - A
Physics - A
Chinese - A
Chemistry - A

  • 6 years of being in the school varsity football team, won first place in group B in 2019
  • 3 years for school charity, head of yr 10/11 for one year
  • Selected as whole school's head prefect (one of the 3 head students in school)in 2019
  • Work experience at Hasfarm for 1 week (achieved an work experience award from school, 1st place)
  • Social Science student of the Year 2019, in school
  • Modern Foreign Language student of the Year 2018 -Top in vietnam for chinese in IGCSE
  • Did bronze international award but did not earn medal
  • Attempted enterprise club but team did not do well, so we split
  • Class helping tutor for Math with year 10, for 1 year

I am an out of state student.

What are my chances of getting in?

Your SAT or ACT could be a bit stronger. OOS admissions can really vary depending on where you are applying from. Like MN and IL have gotten quite competitive for example especially if you’re from the Minneapolis or Chicago areas. If you have naviance data available to you for your school that might be helpful to you.
