Chances of getting into a good college? (UCLA, NYU, Tufts) ?? for law

Hi there! I've read a lot about how colleges only look at sophomore and junior year but I struggled majority with anxiety in school as a freshman and it's got better throughout my sophomore year. My grades were not that great to say the least. I moved recently to North Carolina and they weigh the grades differently. I have a 90 in a class right now which back home in California would be an A but in NC its a B.. will this affect me? Do colleges view me differently from those in California who weigh their grades differently? Anyways, right now I do not have an amazing 4.0 or anything spectacular. (Currently sophomore) but I am sophomore secretary, swim team captain, and apart of about every club at my school. I am only taking honors civics right now. This summer I have an internship with a congressman and a 3 week law program at Georgetown University.
Junior year classes I'm taking:
AP literature
Honors English
AP US
honors US
Chemistry
Math
Theatre
Personal Finance
and I'm enrolling for an extra class at the community college for AP government and politics.
I'm running for vice president my junior year and president of whole school senior year
I'm able to get around a 4.7 GPA junior year

next year's summer I'm applying for UCLA summer program
I will be maintaining my swim team captain spot, also I did place 6th in North Carolina state's swimming.
I have LOTS of volunteer hours, and I'm apart of every club.

Are you looking at law school while you are freshman in HS? If so, I’d suggest you get the highest grade possible in your next two years with a good commitment to an EC you like and come back in two years when you are ready. You have to get to a college first before even thinking of law school. And by the time you finish the college you may have changed your mind about law school anyway.

To have a 90 in HS and if the trend continues will be very difficult to get in a Named Law School. So, when you reach 4.7 GPA then post here again.

College is a fairly long period of time off, let alone law school; don’t be concerned about such things now. It’s good, though, that you have ambitions and know specifically what they are.
