I will also be taking the ACT and SAT Subject Tests (Biology?), probably twice of each.

Started my common app, haven’t written any essays or gotten any letters of recommendation yet, but I will. I’m only trying to find out my chances of getting into these schools before going further. These are my top choices right now, but let me know if I should look at better schools, or look to lower my expectations.

My reach schools: Dartmouth, Duke, Georgetown

Safety: Rutgers, UMass Amherst, UNH

I am familiar with BU and GWU and I’d say you have a strong chance, your GPA definitely helps a lot. However, with UNC CH it’s all about whether you are in state or not. I read somewhere that they make sure 80% of their admits are from North Carolina leaving only 20% for international or OOS kids.
Also, Georgetown strongly recommends 3 Subject tests unless you are applying ED.
(Please chance me too!)

@meganru Thanks for your reply! I am a student in New Hampshire, so my chances for UNC will be low, but I would still love to go there because of its reputation of medical students. I will make sure to take at least 3 subject tests as well, unless I decide to apply ED, which I most likely won’t.

Your numbers and extracurriculars are pretty strong, but the strength of your schedule is a little bit on the weaker side since a lot of the applicants to most of the schools that you want to apply to have mostly Honors and AP classes throughout their high school career. Overall, most of your schools are still within reach, but they’re more on the reachier end than on the safety end.

Low chance for UNC based on current test scores.
Good chance for BU.
Very good chance for GWU.
