Chances of getting into Harvard?

Hello everyone!

So I am currently enrolled in a community college and I soon will be applying to transfer to a 4 year college/university. What are my chances of getting into Harvard or another prestigious university with the following information:

-I scored a 1400 on my SAT (I know horrible but I am just a horribly standardized test taker)
-I had a 93 average in high school.
-I currently have a 4.0 GPA since I enrolled in college.
-I am a secretary of the Honor's club, president of the Multicultural club, and a member of phi theta kappa honor society.
-I volunteer at a domestic violence agency (one of my biggest passions)
-I intern at the District Attorney's office
-I intern at the United Nations

For all practical purpose, your transfer chance into Harvard is closer to 0 than to 0.1.

LOLOLOL Is this a ■■■■■?

Harvard is hard to get into. But you already know that. You have a 4.0, your EC’s are pretty good. Honestly, with transfer students colleges are really random about who they take. So apply, but have a back up school. Personally I think you have a good shot.

Get up your SAT score though, that will most definetely hold you back.

From Harvard admission website, "In each of the past two years, Harvard has been able to enroll twelve transfer students from applicant pools of over six hundred and nearly fifteen hundred. ", and “In regard to standardized test scores, most successful applicants have verbal and math SAT I scores of 600 or above …”

With such direct info from Harvard, I standby my earlier opinion that your chance will be extremely slim.

If PCHope’s facts are correct than I’m afraid that they are right. Now your internships are impressive and so is your GPA (it’s not like you can get higher than a 4.0 in college). Focus, focus, focus on getting your SAT scores up. IF you can get an SAT score of 2100/2400 or higher than definetely apply. If you can’t then you probably shouldn’t waste your money unless you just have a ton of it lying around and you want to apply for kicks.

heh sorry absolutely no chance. Transfer from a community college, 1400 SAT, and basically random and unimpressive ECs. You’ll definitely need to get a revised list of choices
