Chances of Getting into UF or any top level college

<p>Starting Senior year next and I want to see what I working with in terms of choices for colleges. I want to attend University of Florida, but I want know my chances for any Ivy League school like Yale, Princeton, and UPenn or other top level schools.</p>

<p>I'm also in the International Baccalaureate Program at my school, if that helps any.</p>

<p>PSAT Sophomore: 173 (I wasn't prepared for the test...)
-Math: 54
-Verbal: 60
-Writing: 59</p>

<p>PSAT Junior: 181 (My school signed me up for it and notified me the day of the test.)
-Math: 64
-Reading: 64
-Writing: 53</p>

<p>SAT Junior: 1850 (I'm a procrastinator and didn't study like I should have)
-Math: 610
-Reading: 700
-Writing: 540</p>

<p>AP World History: 4
AP US History: 5
Have not come out yet but a guessimation
AP Macroeconomics: 5
AP US Government and Politics: 5
AP Psychology: 5
AP Physics: 2</p>

<p>Clubs:
Debate Club: 1 year
80+ Service Hours</p>

<p>Sports:
Wrestling: 1 year and hopefully my senior year
Water Polo: 1 year
Baseball: 1 year and hopefully my senior year</p>

<p>I also study Judo and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu over the summers</p>

<p>The Ivies are probably gonna be a no. BUT, you have a great shot at UF. Especially if in state. Keep in mind, they are extremely holistic so less qualified applicants get accepted and more qualified applicants get rejected. The only thing that may really hurt you are your ECs</p>

<p>I also go to a IB school, and I’ve heard that UF really likes IB students, so as long as you keep up your grades so you should have some leverage in your favor. Ivies are high reaches, well because they’re Ivies and even students with excellent stats do not get in. I would suggest to look into some ECs that are focused on your intended major as it will help boost your chances as well. Also, take the ACT, because I know personally I did a lot better on my ACT than on my SAT. Good luck!:)</p>
