The first high school classes I took were in 8th grade and they were physical science and government. I made a good grade in government even without the five point for it being an honors class. Physical science however was a different story. My unweighted grade in the class was an 88, so a 93 with the five points. Last year as a freshman I took chemistry and ended with an 89 unweighted and a 94 weighted. This year I am taking AP Biology but that grade is still in progress. I also made an 89 in honors analytical geometry. Those B’s brought my unweighted cumulative GPA to a 92.7 and my weighted is a 96.5. I am also 40th out of 241 students. I personally don’t know if I can get into UGA with these grades and class rank. I am in marching band and participate in seven clubs. I don’t know if my extra curricular activities necessarily help but that is all I have at the moment.
I am pretty certain UGA removes the classes in ms from your gpa and the ap bio grade if you get a b will be a 3.5 for gpa calculation purposes.
They do remove middle school classes but those two count as high school credits
