Honors Classes In All Core Subjects
Took Difficult Electives, Not Things Like Gym And Music.
ECs: Key Club (Secretary) FBLA (President) Student Government (Secretary, Vice President) National Honor Society, Swim Team, Health Sciences Academy, Volunteer Work (Over 200 Hours Since Summer Of 8th Grade) I know my ECs aren't great, but if you look at the ECs my school offers you'd understand.
Work Experience: I've helped out on weekends and vacations at my Family's Hotel.

Your class rank and GPA are right in line with what UNC is looking for. Your SAT score is above the 50th percentile. Your ECs are fine given you have held multiple offices. Volunteerism and work are a plus. AP classes look good and assuming you scored well, will gain credit toward your degree. You might consider retaking the SAT if you are unsure.

For comparison, my DD had slightly lower scores, similar GPA and AP classes, slightly better ECs and experience (work & travel). She got in and just completed a very strong first year at Carolina.

Write good essays, show some creativity and let the admissions team see why you will be a great addition to the body of UNC. Good luck!

So, you don’t think working at my family business will count?

Sure it will. You just seemed to play that aspect down in your initial post (“I’ve helped out on weekends and vacations at my Family’s Hotel”). Work experience will help demonstrate work ethic, willingness to support your own cause, ability to manage multiple priorities, etc. …
